The BMW Plug to SAE 18 inch Adapter Cable

BMW Style Plug (no powerlet did not invent it, Hella did) with 18 inch of 16 AWG wire to a SAE. The BMW Plug is filled with sealant to keep the wires from coming out and to make it waterproof.  

You might see something like this on the powerlet site. Like so many of our connectors, cables and adapters, they did copy our designs. If you ever get ahold of an old gerbing catalog, you will see all the cables and adapters we were making for them and Harley years before powerlet was in business. Also, this plug was developed by Hella not by powerlet. Not sure why they keep claiming it is a powerlet plug when Hella makes them and they have been used for years by Deere and BMW for power ports.
