WE invented the first solid state controller for heated clothing way back in 1993. it, like our heat jacket liner was developed out of the need to have something that would keep me warm on the motorcycle. What was on the market at that time were basically heated blanket controllers and mechanical 555 switches. We sold our controller through companies like Gerbing and Harley, manufacturing it in Portland and designing a better one each year. But soon they realized that if they made it in China, they could make more money and the next thing we know, they are selling this Chinese made copy of our older design. Over the years we have made the Heat-troller design better, using the latest parts to make it more stable and safe. while they and others keep selling that Chinese made copy. That is why theirs fail and ours don't.
