Motorcycle 12V to 5V 3A USB Adapter with Pouch. Never be stranded with your phone, camera or bluetooth headset out of power! This is a universal adapter to go from either our coax battery harness, (a battery tender harness, a BMW Socket or a Cigarette Lighter Socket with our optional adapters) to the USB cable your device came with for charging. NO, you do not have to have a USB connector on the device. You use the cable it came with that has the USB connector on one end and the connector to the device on the other.

And no, a cheap cigarette plug does not work on a motorcycle since most do not have a cigarette socket. I can't believe that a competitor would have someone send us these comments. I guess it is because they do not ride.

5 volt 3 amp output will charge the Ipad as well. Length of cables: Coax Plug to adapter is 13in (330mm) and Adapter to USB is 8.5in (216mm)

Includes neoprene storage pouch

  1. USB adapter 12V 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Feb 2018

Previously i had a "cigarette" lighter adaptor (terminology we used in ancient times),then a usb plug, then a sub charge cord attached to phone. With this i plug in usb cord into heated clothing connector, attach to phone, stick phone in pocket and it charges as I ride

  2. Does the job 5 Star Review

Easy way to charge USB device without having to install a dedicated charging plug. 3 Amps is great.
Use a Y adapted and you can still have your heated gear plugged in.

  3. One less potential problem 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Feb 2016

My phone battery gets sucked down when riding and I worried about losing cell altogether. So as a backup, I carry this charger and the USB cable for my phone - just in case I need it. (The pouch, however, should be bright orange so I can find it).

  4. Count them - Three Fat Amps 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Dec 2015

Most USB chargers are 1 or 2 amp. I was using a 2 amp charger on my bike, and it wasn't enough to stop my phone going flat when I was using the GPS navigation.

This a three-freaking amp charger. Hard to find, especially with a 12v input. Thanks chaps.

No I haven't tried it yet, and yes somebody is going to say: "The battery will overheat". We'll see. I doubt it. The phone is being cooled by an 80mph breeze. And even if it doesn't work and I melt my $80 phone, at least I got the chance to try.
