I've used heated gear for about 20 years and finally got a HeatTroller to use with my new W&S 90W Gen4 liner. It's a combination made in riding heaven!
The HT allows very precise regulation of the considerable heat potential of the the 90W liner; in fact, the liner gets so hot on high that I think it would be unusable with the HT.
The HT's knob is about as small as it can be and still be useable with gloves. I'd prefer a bit more resistance or "feel" to the knob to make adjusting it with heavier gloves easier but it works well and holds its position. If you do bump it, you'll know very quickly as you'll either be too chilly or too hot in short order.
It took some time to figure out how to deal with all the wires involved with the Heat Troller but with a bit of planning, two wire ties and the velcro included in the package, I ended up with a very neat installation on my R1200RT that I can move to another bike in seconds. (I chose the portable unit because I try to avoid drilling holes in expensive fairing panels if I can avoid it.)

Product works great.
Simple to install and make sure you follow directions on wiring directly to the battery

I ordered a new coax singular controller a couple months ago. Carried it on my dirt bike but didn't secure it. Noticed many miles down the trail it was gone. Arrrgh!
Ordered a second on as W&S is the best. I'll be more careful with this one.

I replaced a Widder controller with this Warm & Safe product. I also purchased the BMW Plug to Coax Jack 18 inch Adapter Cable and Cable with Coax Plug to use with my Widder vest and gloves. The Warm & Safe controller works better than the original Widder controller and the connections are better. I will replace the Widder heated clothing with Warm & Safe gear. Now I have the controller waiting on the replacements.
