  1. Love Them 5 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Jan 2017

Always had cold hands (fingers) even with heated grips, winter Tour Master gloves and wind guards. Not anymore, the heat is "low key", hands aren't cold but are "they really on?" Turn the Heat-Troller down and you soon find out, yes they are on. Run the heated grips now real low and the gloves about 1/3. This is in 30 degree weather, plenty of juice left for colder days.
PS- G4 65 watt jacket liner since 2011 and it still works great! Now I need socks.

  2. Warm n toasty! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Dec 2016

This is another top banana product from W&S. It's a pleasure to give it a 5 star review.

I've used them for the last month or so under unlined roper's deerskin gauntlets in UK mid-winter conditions with no other hand protection. All fine through wind, rain (which goes straight into the deerskin) and otherwise miserable open-road conditions.

If you are looking for a layered glove setup these are a very effective active base layer. Obviously the more insulation you have on the outer glove the more you will retain the heat the gloves produce and some rainproofing might be useful. But even with the most basic outer the ride is rendered survivable and that's quite an achievement.

Very nice piece of kit - as usual.

  3. Best heated glove product I have found 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Dec 2016

I have tried Gerbing and Harley Davidson heated gloves. Very thick and awkward operating the controls on the motorcycle. Also, neither one kept my fingers warm. The Warm an Safe inserts are amazing. Very thin, yet great heat, all the way to your fingertips. I use them every morning. They are the best.

  4. Heated glove Inserts are the best. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Mar 2016

These inserts were purchased to replace a set previously used to cross Italy, France and the UK in December 2015. I have small hands and short fingers so found the small/mediums a little big so bought XS ones to replace. Despite the large fit the gloves were still warm so I expect the smaller ones to be even better. My husband wore his and even without power noticed better warming than his much used the silk gloves. With the electric it was another world. The weather was wet, cold, windy and bleak. Glove inserts were inside Aerostich Deerskin Gauntlets (no lining) which were purchased half size bigger to handle the inserts. Rain cover was Aerostich Triple Digit Covers. Combined with Warm & Safe Jacket and glove inserts provided much warmth which emphasized how cool our legs got. Maybe we should be looking at leg warmers too.

  5. Work awesome 5 Star Review

Been using these now for a couple of weeks riding my sled. Even with temps well below zero my hands were warm.
