  1. Just Got It 4 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Nov 2017

My first heated garment - I've been riding 45 years, and don't know why I haven't had heated gear sooner. I've only used it twice so far and this liner is great - pretty even heat (the neck heater is great!), but the temperatures have been well into the 40s. I'll update this review after I ride in the mid-20 degrees. It's increased my riding season in the northern midwest by probably a month.

  2. Super comfortable and quick to heat! 5 Star Review

First off, The service I received was top notch! I called several times to ask questions and was greeted like a friend and my questions were answered cheerfully. Installation was easy and the optional remote makes it easy to use. The vest is very comfortable and well constructed. I will definatly recommend this to my riding buddies. (At least the ones that actually ride even when the sun isn't out)!

  4. Phenomenal product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Nov 2017

I've been riding in the Pacific NorthWet for over thirty years and only recently have I given in to this thing know as "comfort". My first electric liner was unimpressive as the heat only seemed to be on the back, and the liner died rather quickly from corrosion. So, based on other riders' reviews I purchased the W&S gear (liner and gloves). The gear is quick to heat and it's spread nicely around the body. The change that this has made in my riding cannot be understated. I've spent years freezing on long trips. There's nothing worse than getting so cold on a ride that your hand are in agony (and I have heated grips - warm palms but knuckles screaming in pain!) and your body cramps from freezing in the saddle. I recently completed a 800 mile ride in the near freezing, with rain off and on, and didn't notice the cold at all.

The liner is well made gear, heavier than I expected (which is a good thing as it has a little insulative quality to it) but the heat is nicely spread over the torso and arms. The gloves are heavy, but they're the single greatest thing I've put on for a ride. Cold hands for 400 miles is one of the worst things on a motorcycle trip.

I don't like the stiffness of heavy gloves in general. I prefer much lighter weight, and for the most part I can get away with them...but when you need warm gloves, you better have them. While I might not always use the gloves, I will always carry them with me.

Two things I will recommend with this product; keep a light, thin, collarless liner to wear over the heated gear under your jacket in really cold or wet weather to provide insulation so you're not bleeding all your heat into space. The second issue is to consider a second control circuit for the gloves as I found that I like my hands cooler than my torso.

I'm a big guy. My chest is 52" and my waist is 40". XXL fits very comfortably.

This product works really well with the Neutrino Black Box.
