Product Description

A Whole New Platform Technology - Beyond Xtreme to Version X(i)-Remote!
This is the new Remote Controller Design with the 2 AAA Batteries and a bunch of new features such as visual response from the receiver
A Dual Heat-troller is not a two-fer. It is not for two people but to control multiple clothing on one person!

Battery Tender Adapter Set - This is a 2 adapter set of cables to convert the Battery Tender battery harness and Battery Tender device to Coax connection making it easier to use and to make it easierr to plug our heated gear into. Everyone knows that for the old style SAE connector to make a good connection it needs to fit tight. Those who have had the experiance knows what a pain it is to unplug the connection. By putting these cables on and leaving them you now have a more efficient connection and yet one that unplugs without damaging your hand or the bike.

Warning: If you are going to do this then swap the fuse in the Tender cable with the one you received with the Heat-troller battery harness, so it will handle the draw. You need at least 15A fuse in the battery harness.

Replaces the Old Semi-Mount Remote Heat-troller and gives you a lot more for less work!
Yes it comes with the Battery Harness
Size Receiver 2.5 x 1.75 x .5 inch, Control 2.35 x 1.3 x .75 inch

  1. It just plain works! 5 Star Review

I ordered the Dual Remote Heat Troller with the Gen4 jacket liner and ultimate touring gloves. Installation is a snap. The remote aspect of it is PERFECT. It gives lots of flexibility with where you put the troller, with no wires to complicate things. I used the provided velcro to perch the troller on my clutch reservoir. The knobs are perfectly sized to use with gloved hands, even when underway.

  2. Stupid Simple and an OH WOW result 5 Star Review

I finally made my foray into heated apparel (Warm & Safe of course). See my review for the Gen 4 Jacket and Pant liner.

For me the most difficult aspect was figuring out where the heck to put this heat troller. Once I realized how well it fit onto the mount for my GPS and an additional zip tie for mental security I was good to go. At a later date I may consider mounting it under one of the panels on the bike with only the knobs sticking out because reaching above my GPS with T-Rex arms can be a challenge.

My only reservation is the longevity of the batteries as I am heading out on a 5+ week trip. Admittedly that is a minor concern with the batteries being AAA rather than a more difficult to find and less life watch style. Now added to my tank bag is a back up set of batteries and a small Phillips.

The lights on the unit are very intuitive and flash when you adjust the temperature showing that "yes I am working for you". Slightly too warm or cold, just make an adjustment and there you go all Warm & Safe as well as cozy.

  3. Easy! 5 Star Review

The unit was easy to hook up and a great fit into the Gen-3 liner. Mounted the control (with pouch) onto the handle bars for easy axcess with GLOVES ON! Nicely done W&S

  4. A more convient controller and safer for me too. 5 Star Review

When I purchased a Warm N Safe heated liner to replace my Widder Vest I knew I wanted the remote controller. With my old plug in controller I typically crammed the cord into my left pant pocket with the controller just kind of hanging out the top. It worked well for me for many years but that controller had no clicks or any other way to tell where the knob was set. I had to glance down and see how much the knob had been turned. Often, an intended glance kept my eyes off the road way more than they should have been so it was a no brainer to choose this remote controller so I could position it somewhere that would be easier to see.
I ordered the controller and pouch with belt clip and use a velcro strap to secure it to one of the handle bar risers on my bike. Even though it also has no clicks on the power knobs it's easy to glance down and see exactly what position the knobs are adjusted to.
I must comment that when installing and or synching the controller the LED's on mine don't flash like described in the instructions provided or as shown on Warm N Safe videos found online. It works just fine though so I'm quite happy with it.
