I hated wired heat controllers - where to stick it on jackets, falling off, etc. This thing is just a wonderful idea and it's executed flawlessly. If I could give it ten stars I would.

Great to be able to separate jacket and pants, as/when needed.
Fits in fairing pocket and is easily usable with gloves.

There are many times I will plug in without the troller for a little warmth but when the temperatures dig it nice to know that I can turn my gloves all the way up and my jacket to half power to or more depending on climate. I keep it mounted on my handlebar with some industrial strength Velcro I bought at Home Depot for $4 and I remove it in the summer months unless there is a chance I could ride into some inclement weather on one of my rides. Easy to change out the batteries and keep a few extras on hand just in case. My wife likes to keep her controller in her pocket.

originally I didn't believe that a remote controller would be necessary for my heated gloves. I though a physical in-line knob system that was not remote, would be just fine. But now that I guessed upwardly to the wireless version and have used it, I think that it was the wise choice. I can drive down the road and simply reach over to where it is hanging off my mirror and adjust the controls safely while driving. No reaching into my jacket or where it might be less safe to try and adjust a in-line system.

The remote fits perfectly in my windshield pouch and is in perfect position to make minor changes and temp changes. Knobs are perfect distance apart for use with heavy gloves.
